Terms and Conditions for Cab and Auto Captains

Introduction

Welcome to Ride Share App! These Terms and Conditions govern your relationship with Ride Share App as a Cab or Auto Captain. By registering as a captain, you agree to comply with these terms.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Hold a valid commercial driving license for the respective vehicle category.
  • Own or have authorized access to a cab or auto-rickshaw in good condition.
  • Have valid vehicle registration, commercial permit, and insurance documents.
  • Clear background verification and police verification as per company standards.
  • Vehicle must have a valid fitness certificate.

Captain Responsibilities

  • Maintain your vehicle in safe, clean, and roadworthy condition.
  • Follow all traffic rules, regulations, and local transport laws.
  • Provide professional, courteous, and respectful service to customers.
  • Accept rides promptly and complete them efficiently via the shortest route.
  • Ensure customer safety and comfort at all times.
  • Keep all legal documents including insurance, permit, and fitness certificate up to date.
  • Use GPS navigation as provided in the app for accurate route tracking.

Commission Structure

Ride Share App operates on a transparent commission model. The platform charges 0% commission, meaning you keep 100% of your earnings. Payment processing fees may apply as per the payment gateway provider.

Payment Terms

  • Payments will be processed weekly to your registered bank account.
  • You must maintain valid bank account details in the app.
  • Cash collections must be deposited as per company guidelines.
  • Any disputes regarding payments must be raised within 7 days.

Fare Calculation

  • Fares are calculated based on distance, time, and vehicle type.
  • Surge pricing may apply during peak hours or high-demand periods.
  • Waiting charges apply as per the fare structure.
  • Toll charges and parking fees will be added to customer fare.

Cancellation Policy

  • Excessive cancellations may result in penalties or account suspension.
  • Valid cancellation reasons include customer no-shows or safety concerns.
  • Maintain a cancellation rate below 5% to remain in good standing.
  • Cancellation after reaching pickup point may incur customer cancellation fee.

Rating & Reviews

  • Maintain a minimum rating of 3.5 stars to continue using the platform.
  • Customer feedback is used to improve service quality.
  • Consistent low ratings may result in account review or suspension.

Account Suspension & Termination

Your account may be suspended or terminated for:

  • Violation of terms and conditions.
  • Fraudulent activities or misrepresentation.
  • Poor customer ratings or repeated complaints.
  • Failure to maintain valid documents or permits.
  • Breach of safety protocols or misconduct with customers.
  • Use of vehicle not registered with the platform.
